About Us

This Is Our Story...

Welcome to Love Bug Organics!

We are thrilled you have decided to check us out our website and would love to tell you a little bit about us and our products.

Love Bug Organics was founded by Rochelle (who goes by Chellie) in 2021. Chellie has been an advocate for health and wellness since roughly 2012 when her own son Liam was diagnosed with both Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism. At the time Chellie was implementing a conventional lifestyle for her family and shortly after his diagnosis she switched to a natural lifestyle.

Although health care professionals had advised Chellie that her son may never have a “normal life,” and that he may never walk properly, or talk properly… or even be able to toilet train… Chellie refused to believe that her son was meant to struggle through the rest of his life and at just one years old, she was determined to figure out what she could do to improve his quality of life.

This was about the same time that social media was really beginning to take off and that led to an entirely new world of information becoming available to Chellie. Suddenly she had access to other mothers who had been or were in similar situations and they were willing to share what they had done to help their children. Those tried-and-true experiences helped Chellie figure out what direction to take.

From there, Chellie poured her heart and soul into researching EVERYTHING.

And just like that everything changed…

Chellie switched her family, with her husband’s support, to living as naturally and holistically as possible. Their ‘Sad American Diet’ turned into a whole food diet, their “wellness checks” turned into appointments with Naturopaths, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists and Functional Support. The toxins in their home (air fresheners, cosmetics, laundry and cleaning products & more) were all removed and replaced with wild crafted organic goods & instead of take-out it was herbs, zeolites, superfood smoothies and juice fasts. Public school became homeschool. (To name a few changes.)

Chellie documented her experiences and her son’s progress on social media. Just two weeks after making some changes Liam’s mumbles turned into clearer words and continued to rapidly improve with detox protocols. Months later, he went from having SEVERE gastrointestinal problems & chronic constipation requiring frequent ER visits for bowel impaction, to mumbling and motioning to his mother that he would like to use the toilet AND HE DID (and all problems resolved)! More months passed and Liam went eating less than a handful of foods without gagging, choking or vomiting (due to sensory problems) to motioning to the meat and deli counters and asking to try new foods.

It was mind-blowing to watch the transformation.

It has been eight years now and Chellie continues to implement ways to improve her son’s quality of life however, he is now functioning at 100%.

Liam, who is now in double digits, enjoys building 2,000-6,000+ piece Lego sets, he loves reading novels with his father, he enjoys all sports and does competitive cheer, gymnastics, soccer, ninja, as well as music lessons; he is learning the guitar and debuted in his first drum solo in May 2021. Liam wants to be a veterinarian and own an animal sanctuary when he grows up… it is hard to believe this is the same child that used to sit and stare blankly while continually banging his head into walls.

This experience has taught Chellie many life-lessons and many skills, and when combined with her extensive experience working with organic & herbal companies, has led her to launch her very own company. Meet, Love Bug Organics!

Why that name?

Chellie has called her youngest daughter, Iva, “Bug,” “Buggie,” or “Love Bug,” since she was a tot and when her daughter asked her mom what she would name her new company, the name ‘Love Bug Organics’ immediately popped into Chellie’s head. It felt like a sign. It felt right. So here we are!

The intention behind Love Bug Organics is to provide high-quality, clean, safe and affordable products for the whole family. These products are hand-crafted by Chellie and made with love and care.
